About IA "TRAVEK"
International Association on transformers, high voltage equipment, electrical ceramics and other componentry and materials - "TRAVEK" was established on 11th of April, 1991 for the implementation of business cooperation, contributing sales, production and development of technology, supply production competitiveness on the world market.
The past years, characterized by a sharp contraction of the national markets of production, put forward the plan of action, which helps to maintain the competitiveness of products and, first of all, the provision of information exchange in the field of scientific and technological achievements. Association coped with this difficult challenge by holding international symposia including electro technical elite of countries-participants by organizing seminars and company presentations.
New time brings new challenges, including sustainable development of organizations in terms of growing markets for maximum openness of them and stock depletion of the existing technological structure. In compliance with the established reality of the Association, without belittling actions to preserve the competitiveness of products, it develops areas of business cooperation, which promote the development of enterprises and organizations, production and marketing of products, effective problem solving of technical regulation, including testing and certification of equipment.
Aims of creation the Association:
• implementation of business cooperation, which promotes the development of new technology and products production in the field of construction of transformers, high voltage equipment, electro technical ceramics, and other electrical products, materials and special manufacturing equipment;
• development of integration and cooperation among the members of the Association, including issues of the standardization, testing and certification of equipment;
• joining of forces to protect their rights, and represent the common interests of Association members at the level of presidential and governmental entities, ministries, agencies, academies of science, and public organizations, as well as interaction with adjoining Associations and other entities.
Objects of the Association activity are:
• assistance in the development of new technology and manufacturing technologies;
• organization and conducting of regular scientific and technical conferences;
• assistance to the Association members in the implementation of technical and commercial activities in order to increase mutual commodity circulation among the Association members and member states of the Association;
• organization of technical regulation works, including standardization of electrical equipment and works on confirmation of equivalence;
• assistance to the Association members in conducting of tests and certification of high-voltage electrical equipment;
• representation of interests of the Association members in presidential and governmental structures, related associations, academic structures, universities and other organizations;
• organization of estimation of prospective markets for electrical products sale - the Association TRAVEK members and estimation of designing of prospective types of electrical equipment;
• assistance in the organization and implementation of potential projects for the supply of electrical equipment packages (transformers, reactors, insulators, high-voltage circuit breakers and other electrical products and materials);
• organizing and holding of exhibitions, workshops, scientific and technical conferences, business meetings;
• organization of publication of advertising, scientific and technical information of the Association members;
• the Association members information on holding of scientific - technical conferences, seminars and exhibitions in Russia and in the world;
• participation in the organization and holding of research engineering and research works;
• assistance to state authorities in the elaboration of strategy of the electrical industry development, examination, the development of standards and methodologies;
• provision of help and service to the Association members, including services such as the exchange of information and assistance in the search for potential partners to expand product markets.
The motto of the Association is - through the improvement of cooperative relations (clustering) to the sustainable development of electrical products market, strengthening on it the position of members of the Association.
The Association carries out execution of works:
I. In the field of cooperation between organizations and enterprises-participants on sales and manufacturing, the implementation of effective measures, which ensure their development.
Thereupon, the Association provides the assistance in the field of commercial activities including the evaluation of electro technical production market development and relying on them the member organizations of the Association, in the expansion of the supply of products, taking into account the organization of participation in tenders and contests, in the organization of direct contacts with planners and consumers of electro technical production, in cooperation development, in search for potential partners, assists in the export of production, objects of intellectual property and "know-how", as well as in providing the technical, informational and other services.
II. In the area of improvement of the technical level of production and manufacturing, competitive recovery.
Association implements activities for the certification of production and quality management systems, the establishment and development of scientific and technical cooperation, provision of scientific and technical information and scientific and technical services.
To participate in Association works are attracted organizations, developers and users of electro technical equipment, including energy companies, companies who exploit local energy networks, planners, organizations - developers and enterprises-manufacturers of electro technical equipment, manufacturers of components and electro technical materials in Russia, CIS and other countries. Implementing measures to evaluate and improve the competitiveness involve known scientists, leading engineers, technologists and specialists - the intellectual elite electronics in Russia, the near and distant abroad.
The association cooperates with the government of Russia and the near abroad.
